THE MARINE DIARIES
DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL
The Marine Diaries is an organisation on a mission to communicate ocean science. It uses digital media to tell stories about the ocean and bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public. It is a 1% for the Planet non-profit and a member of the European Commission’s initiative to increase ocean literacy (EU4Ocean).

Through informative and engaging content they inform the general public about ocean issues and give a voice to the ocean and its inhabitants.
Working with key organisations, they aim to spread ocean conservation as far and wide as possible and promote behavioural change, through the creation of targeted, thematic campaigns and projects.
Ultimately their aim is to encourage the next generation of ocean warriors.
“The Marine Diaries is excited to partner with Dive Project Cornwall because we believe in connecting people with the ocean. Giving young people access to the ocean, and the confidence to explore it, is vital in inspiring the next generation to protect marine life.
Not only could this project be life-changing for a child who would otherwise never step foot under the waves, but it will also have a positive impact on the ocean for decades to come through the marine education provided through this project.”
