PHOTOS FROM WEEK 2 - THE SYDNEY RUSSELL SCHOOL
At the end of September, we had the pleasure of hosting the winners of Area 4 (South East London), The Sydney Russell School. Their winning entry was a giant octopus made out of plastic bottles and covered much of the school atrium!
The lucky teens who took part in the Dive Week were able to experience all elements of the ocean and really put their marine knowledge into practice, with full educational support given by the Marine Conservation Society.
Orca Scuba Diving Academy have given100% commitment to DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL sharing our aims and goals. Working with The Sydney Russell School from the very beginning, they have worked with both the teaching staff and the students to prepare them for their DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL experience. It's thanks to Orca Scuba Diving Academy and the incredible efforts of all their team, they fully immersed themselves in the dive week, taking charge of the diving with their expert teaching, camping on site, actively contributing to the positive energy and fun throughout the week, leading to students completing their PADI Open Water Dive certification.
Everyone who took part had an exceptional time and worked together to safeguard our oceans from beach litter and understand more about how they can use their new Ocean Influencer status to inform and inspire others.
